Police investigate explosion at Limassol fast-food restaurant

Police are investigating an explosion at a fast-food restaurant in Limassol, which damaged the store and cars in the area, authorities said on Thursday.

The explosion occurred at 4am in the Zakaki area at the fast-food restaurant owned by a 34-year-old.

According to police, the explosive was placed in the entrance of the restaurant.

Two cars were damaged by the explosive belonging to a 65-year-old and a 29-year-old.

The scene has been cordoned off for further police investigation.
