Limassol police arrest two people in drug bust

Police in Limassol arrested two people found in possession of a total of 352 grammes of methamphetamine, 15 grammes of cocaine, €735 in cash and a cheque for €760 in their apartment, according to an announcement on Monday.

The two, aged 34 and 43, were arrested on drug charges following a tip-off by the drug squad Ykan and taken into custody to facilitate investigations.

During the arrest, the 34-year-old also attacked one of the police officers and will also face assault charges.
