Wanted man arrested in Limassol

Police arrested a 41-year-old man Tuesday night in relation to a case of burglaries and thefts under investigation.

The suspect was located and arrested in Limassol shortly before 10:00 pm and taken into custody following evidence obtained during investigation of three cases of residential burglary and theft. 

The details and photo of the suspect had been released by the police to the public on September 19, 2022, with the aim of gathering information that could lead to his identification.

According to police information, the three burglaries, committed on September 8 and 9, and on August 2, involved the theft of money, gold, and jewellery amounting to a total estimated value of €2,090.
