A 42-year-old man was jailed for seven months on Wednesday for stealing construction materials from an erected building in Paphos earlier this year.

Paphos district court imposed the seven-month prison sentence to the man after he was found guilty of the theft of various building materials.

The man stole cables, copper pipes and grids from a building under construction in the district in April.
