Two more arrests for Limassol football violence

Police have identified two suspects wanted for incidents of football violence and vandalism last Sunday at Limassol’s Tsirio Stadium, which resulted in the cancellation of the scheduled Apollon-AEK match.

According to the police, on Saturday a 44-year-old and a 26-year-old were summoned to Limassol CID where they were accused in writing on of the offences committed, and are to be summoned before court at a later date.

Police are continuing their search for three more suspects.
