Paphos police investigating car fire in spare parts lot

Police are investigating a car fire that broke out after midnight on Wednesday in Paphos.

According to the police, at 1am on Wednesday police received a call about a fire in a parked vehicle owned by a 36-year-old man.

The fire service sped to the spare parts storage lot where the car had been left and extinguished the fire, which had already caused extensive damage to the front interior of the vehicle.

Examinations by the police and fire service have so far revealed that the fire started from inside the vehicle.
