Larnaca road closures

Construction work will take place on Friday, on a section of Kyriakou Matsi Avenue, in Larnaca, while pruning works will be carried out from January 2 to 13 on central islands of roads in the district.

The Larnaca District Engineer’s Office, saidconstruction works will be carried out by a private company on a section of Kyriakou Matsi Avenue from 5am to 7am.

During the execution of the works, part of the avenue from the roundabout near the stadium of Nea Salamina to the next roundabout, in the direction of Aradippou, will be closed and traffic will be channelled through adjacent roads.
Moreover, from January 2nd to 13, cleaning and pruning works of the central islands will be carried out by the Municipality of Aradippou. Specifically, the works will take place from 8am until 1pm daily, except weekends and holidays, on Eleftherias, Acropolis, Australias, Spyrou Kyprianou and Griva Digenis avenues in the Larnaca district.

During the execution of the works, traffic lanes from both directions will be partially closed for a distance of 100m. approximately and traffic will be channelled into the adjacent lane.
