Airport arrest for forged papers

Paphos airport

A 28-year-old man was arrested at Paphos airport trying to catch a flight to Poland using a fake passport, police said on Saturday.

Officers at passport control stopped him the previous evening at 7pm, when they noticed he had a forged passport.

After questioning, he admitted he was an asylum seeker and his documents were fake.
