Efforts to upgrade the ancient port of Kyrenia are underway in the north, it was reported on Wednesday.

According to an announcement by the ‘deputy prime minister’ and tourism ‘minister’, more and more tourists are expected to visited the site after it is renewed.

No date for its completion was specified however ‘authorities’ said they were be mindful of the quality of water in the port.
