Nama Dama and Lemesios to perform at ARTos House

One more evening of live music is coming to Nicosia as ARTos House in Ayioi Omologites prepares to host two local musicians. On January 26, Nama Dama and Constantinos Lemesios will take the stage to present their new body of work.

Nicosia-based Nama Dama is a Cypriot-Ukrainian performance artist whose work spins around various concepts. As such, each of her performances usually differs from the next. Her music is an amalgam of folk and classical music, wrapped around ambient and intense vocals. She released her first EP Confessions to my Songbird in 2020 and is currently involved in theatrical and educational work. During this upcoming event at ARTos House, she will present her short solo performance titled SAPIENS which is a political performance that deals with today’s war in Ukraine and the future of humanity.

Constantinos Lemesios will present his new album called Them during the event. In this, he experiments with atmospheric electronic sounds and synthesizers and wanders between IDM music and the underground, art-pop European electronic scene. A full band, comprising three musicians (Mike Nicolaou on guitars, Xanthos Pattichis on bass and Stefanos Eliopoulos on drums), will accompany Lemesios during his performance of Them, playing also older, beloved songs from his previous album Dysphasia.
