Nicosia man arrested for e-scooter theft

Police arrested a 25-year-old man in Nicosia under suspicion of having stolen an e-scooter, authorities said on Thursday.

According to police statement, around 3 pm on Wednesday police received a complaint that an unknown person had stolen a parked electric scooter.

Members of the Ledra substation examined the scene, and a short time later identified a 25-year-old man in possession of the stolen scooter.

The 25-year-old was arrested and was taken into custody for questioning.

Nicosia central police station is continuing investigation.
