Man arrested for warehouse theft in Limassol

Police on Monday arrested a 53-year-old man in Limassol in connection with an investigated case of burglary and theft.

According to police statement a complaint was received from a resident, that while absent for a few days, three warehouses in his yard were broken into. Power tools for construction work were stolen from the warehouses.

During investigation evidence emerged pointing to a 53-year-old suspect. An arrest warrant was obtained against him and he was taken into custody for questioning shortly after 7:30pm.

The case is being investigated by the Lania Police Station.
