Today’s weather: Partly cloudy, some showers

On Tuesday the weather will be partly cloudy with local rains and isolated storms expected, mainly in the northern half of the island. The winds will be mainly south-westerly, weak to moderate, up to 4 Beaufort and locally strong, up to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough. Temperatures will rise to 27 C in the interior, 26 C on the south-east and the east coast, 24 C on the remaining coasts and 16 C in the higher mountains.

On Tuesday night, the weather will be mostly clear with temporarily increased clouds, mainly on the coasts. During the morning hours, low clouds and thin fog are expected inland. Winds will be north-westerly to north-easterly, variable and weak, up to 3 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to a slightly rough. Temperatures will drop to 14 C inland, 16 C on the coast and 8 C in the higher mountains.

On Wednesday locally increased clouds are expected in the afternoon with rains and isolated storms, mainly in the north. On Thursday, showers are expected, mainly in the mountains, turning to mostly sunny on Friday. 

Over the next three days, the temperature will gradually rise slightly, fluctuating close to the average for the season.
