Cyprus post office warns of mobile text scam

The Cyprus Post warned on Tuesday of phishing text messages sent to the public that should be ignored.

A number of people have received texts appearing to be from the postal service, specifying a wrong delivery or incorrect address.

“The Cyprus Post has no involvement and urges the public to ignore these messages.”

The public is also advised that any tax payment to the Cyprus Post should be made only through the JCCSmart website.
