Seven million for sheep and goat farmers

The European Commission on Tuesday announced the allocation of €7 million for Cypriot sheep and goat farmers.

The allocation of funds is aimed at ameliorating the financial losses faced by farmers as a result of the break in the supply of animal feed caused by the Russian invasion of Ukraine last year.

The maximum amount that can be allocated to a single farmer is €250,000, and those eligible will be able to apply for funds until December 31.
