Police investigate burglary and jewellery theft in Paphos

Police on Saturday said that a permanent resident of Paphos reported to local police that unknown individuals burglarised his residence on Friday night, stealing mainly jewellery of undetermined value, as well as his vehicle, before subsequently fleeing the scene.

According to the police, the burglary occurred at 10pm on Friday night, during which various pieces of jewellery, four passports, and the owner’s car were stolen before the perpetrators fled.

Members of the Paphos police station visited the residence and, after further examination, determined that the alleged perpetrator gained entry through a sliding window.

Finally, the police said that they collected various pieces of evidence from the scene with the aim of identifying the suspects.
