Cyta postpones Polis works that would have interrupted services (Updated)

State telecommunications authority Cyta has renewed its certification as a Communications, Navigation and Surveillance service provider. Cyta offers for students and young people

Cyta has postponed upgrades to the network would have affected customers in the wider Polis Chrysochous area.

The work, which was due to start at 7am on September 27 was expected to last for 48 hours and be completed by the morning of Friday September 29.

During this period, it was expected that mobile telephone service would be affected in the wider area of Polis Chrysochous, including the communities of Argakas, Gialia, Neo Chorio, Steni and the area of Kavo Arnaoutis in Akamas.

The telecommunications authority later said the work had been postponed and new dates would be announced.
