A 26-year-old man was arrested in Limassol on Wednesday after having robbed a bakery and two kiosks.

The man was found by police while entering a vehicle, which police later discovered was stolen.

Police secured an arrest warrant against the man based on CCTV evidence.

In the first robbery, the man entered a bakery in Mesa Geitonia armed with a knife and a taser, before stealing a donation box containing around €50 in cash.

He then entered a kiosk and stole €450 from its cash register while holding the till operator at knifepoint, before taking the knife and taser to another kiosk in the Panthea area and stealing €65 in cash.
