The joint session of the three trade unions, Pasydy, Sek, and Peo, which convened on Tuesday afternoon to make decisions regarding the issue of low wage civil servants, will resume on Wednesday.

According to Sek general secretary Andreas Iliou, the unions have not come to an agreement on all the topics on Tuesday and further consultations among the involved parties are necessary.

The meeting, which turned out to be a marathon, lasted for over five hours.

In a joint statement released earlier on Tuesday, the unions warned that if there will be no answers or proposals from either the president or the ministry, they will be forced to make decisions about dynamic mobilisations.
