PVCC and Cyprus Red Cross sign pact to boost volunteerism

Pan Cyprian Volunteerism Coordinative Council and the Cyprus Red Cross signed a memorandum of cooperation

Thursday saw the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the tPan Cyprian Volunteerism Coordinative Council (PVCC) and the Cyprus Red Cross, aimed at the joint promotion and development of volunteerism principles and values.

The memorandum was signed between the president of the PVCC Elias Demetriou and the president of the Cyprus Red Cross Fotini Papadopoulou at the offices of the Cyprus Red Cross in Nicosia.

A PVCC statement released after the signing said that the two organisations “will collaborate on knowledge and experience exchange, aiming for mutual utilisation of their skills and expertise.”

“This agreement signifies the further development of cooperation between the two organisations and the implementation of a joint action plan to promote our common goals in areas of mutual interest. It marks the culmination of the long and esteemed collaboration,” the statement concluded.
