Schools will see modernised analytical programmes, improved all-day programmes and more emphasis on technical education when they reopen in September, Education Minister Athena Michaelidou said on Monday.

Michaelidou said the new school year would see a focus on quality over quantity.

The minister added the transition to modern schooling would see a reasonable use of technology.

“This will take time,” she said.
