Police on Tuesday arrested a 74-year-old man on suspicion of having caused a fire in Farmakas a day ago.

According to police, the fire burned 15 hectares of trees and dry brush, necessitating the intervention of four helicopters, a plane, and 21 fire trucks to put it out.

Police are still investigating.
