The 57-year-old British national found dead in his home in Ayios Epiktitos “committed suicide”, the Turkish Cypriot police said on Saturday.
Following an autopsy, they revealed that Andrew Cullen, who was found dead at around 10am on Friday, had a “laceration of the trachea”, as well as “cutting wounds, a laceration of a major vein, and external bleeding”.
The Turkish Cypriot police had said on Friday they were treating his death as a suspected murder. Their investigation into the matter is ongoing.
