A typing error led to invoices being sent out to legal entities and individuals in Livadia, Larnaca, saying they were late paying rubbish and cemetery taxes.

Larnaca municipality apologised for the mistake and any inconvenience caused, the Cyprus News Agency reported.

It assured that taxes can be paid by the date on the invoice and that the sums were correct and called on the recipients of the invoices to ignore any reference to delays.
