A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of having stolen two lorries, the police announced on Wednesday.
He was arrested on Tuesday after investigations into the theft and “malicious damage” of the two lorries as well as a number of items from a warehouse.
The police said the thefts were committed between September 4 and September 5 from a “fenced area” in the Larnaca district, and that they had a combined value of around €35,000.
The man is expected to appear in court in Larnaca on Thursday to be issued a remand. The police’s investigation into the matter is ongoing.
