An old Paphos building was up in flames on Tuesday night, and despite efforts by firefighting services, parts of the building were damaged by the fire.
Fire services spokesman Andreas Kettis said the flames began shortly after 6pm a restaurant in the building.
Five firefighting vehicle were deployed to the scene.
“The top floor of the restaurant was completely destroyed.”
Reports said the restaurant was not working when the fire began.
No individuals were harmed as a result of the flames which took around 3.5 hours to obliterate.
