There is no rest for the island’s musicians and this season is certainly a busy one for them. All the more to enjoy!

Music nights in Paphos villages are coming this month, this week even. On Thursday evening, singer, songwriter and classical guitarist Milasa will perform live at o Linós in Ineia. Her performance will kick off at 8pm, accompanied by her guitar.

“Milasa is a unique crossover artiste, blending classical guitar melodies with contemporary songwriting. How does she connect both of these worlds to make such a unique concert? Imagine JS Bach was a singer-songwriter and Ed Sheeran played classical masterpieces, and you get the idea of Milasa’s extraordinary talent! Her technique is excellent, her voice superb and her writing is amazing. Her way of giving equal emphasis to guitar and voice elevates the guitar from merely accompanying the songs to being an integral and equal part of her performance.”

On Thursday, she will perform Baroque masterpieces from JS Bach and Henry Purcell as well as songs by Leonard Cohen and Simon & Garfunkel and some of her original music. There is limited space at o Linós but if you do not manage to catch her this week, fear not. She will perform again at the same venue on November 13.
