Bomb threats were sent to a hospital and two hotels on Tuesday night, according to media reports.

The messages were sent by email, with the email sent to the hospital demanding that a €25,000 ransom be paid and saying that non-payment of the ransom would cause a bomb placed in the premises to be detonated.

The emails sent to the hotels demanded that €75,000 be paid in bitcoin, with the same threatened consequence for non-payment.

All three premises reported the threats to the police, with the police saying they found nothing suspicious during their searches of the locations.

Police investigations into the matter are in full swing, with attempts being made to track down the sender.
