The Construction Production Index in Cyprus reached 110.92 points in the third quarter of 2024, with 2021 acting as the base year set at 100 points.

This marks a 6.5 per cent increase compared to the same quarter in 2023, according to the Cyprus Statistical Service (Cystat).

What is more, the service reported that the index for the period from January to September 2024 showed a rise of 5.2 per cent compared to the corresponding period in 2023, highlighting sustained growth in the sector.

Meanwhile, the Producer Price Index for Construction stood at 120.60 points in the third quarter of 2024, showing a marginal quarter-on-quarter increase of 0.7 per cent.

When compared to the same quarter in 2023, the Producer Price Index rose by 3.7 per cent.

Finally, over the January-September 2024 period, the index recorded an annual increase of 4.3 per cent compared to the same timeframe last year.
