Wednesday will be partly cloudy with localised showers and isolated storms, as well as snowfall in the higher mountains, in the afternoon. Temperatures will rise to 14C inland, 17C on the coast, and 4C in the higher mountains, where frost will form. Winds will be mainly north-westerly to north-easterly, weak to moderate, up to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough.

Overnight increased cloud cover will be observed bringing more rain and the chance of an isolated storm, on the coast. Temperatures will drop to 4C inland, 7C on the coast, and -2C in the higher mountains bringing more frost. Winds will be mainly north-westerly, weak to moderate, up to 4 Beaufort, locally up to strong, 5 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough to rough.

Thursday will start off partly cloudy with a chance of showers, become mainly clear in the afternoon. Friday is forecast to stay clear and on Saturday high clouds will be observed at times.

Temperatures are not expected to vary significantly, remaining slightly below the seasonal norms and rising by Friday.

The height of the snow, at 5am, was 12 cm in Troodos Square and 9cm in Chionistra. All roads leading up to Troodos were closed to all vehicles except those equipped with four-wheel drive or snow chains at the time of publication.
