Police in the Famagusta district detained a 52-year-old man on Monday in connection with a Christmas Eve bomb explosion at a residence.
It followed the arrest of another male suspect, 35, on Friday for the 9.10pm December 24 blast.
Police said the device had been placed in the front yard of a newly constructed house that belongs to a 50-year-old man.
The owner was in the yard at the time of the explosion, together with another man, 34, but neither was injured by the blast.
The bomb squad said the blast was caused by a high explosive device placed in the yard.
The 52-year-old is expected to be brought before a court later Tuesday.
