An 18-year-old was on Tuesday night rushed to Nicosia general hospital and is in a serious condition after a car crash, police confirmed.
The incident occurred at around 7:30pm on the Tseri road near Marki. Police said that the young man lost control of his vehicle but the circumstances are still being investigated.
A police source said while the injuries are serious they may not be life-threatening.
