Coronavirus: 132 people booked for violating measures

Lockdown ÐÁÍÄÇÌÉÁ Covid 19 – ËÅÕÊÙÓÉÁ ÊÏÓÌÏÓ

While carrying out 14,170 checks to prevent the coronavirus from spreading, police booked 132 individuals in 24 hours from Wednesday until Thursday.

In Nicosia, 3,209 checks were conducted, in Limassol 4,599, in Larnaca 1,559, in Paphos 1,398, in Famagusta 1,467 and in Morphou 771.

Another 62 were inspected by marine police, 1,100 by traffic police, and five by the rapid response unit.

Most people were fined in Limassol and Nicosia, 42 in each of the two districts.
