Thor-struck: how Marvel god Hemsworth spends his millions

Chris Hemsworth has an impressive net worth of $130 million, having been catapulted to fame playing Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. So, how does he spend all that cash?

Firstly, there’s real estate. One of the star’s most impressive purchases is his Byron Bay mansion, sometimes referred to as the Hemsworth Fortress. Among its luxe features is a 50m-long rooftop infinity pool and it is estimated to be worth over $30 million. The actor also has million-dollar homes in Malibu – that he shares with his actor brothers Luke and Liam – and has been known to stay at some of the world’s most luxurious resorts, such as Australia’s Orpheus Island Lodge.

Then there’s homes of a floating kind. Hemsworth is rumoured to own a $100-million superyacht called ‘The Felix’, plus he and Hollywood pal Matt Damon have been spotted enjoying their weekends on A-lister Brad Pitt’s massive yacht, too. What about fancy wheels? Yes, he’s got those, too. Hemsworth’s car collection includes a Cadillac Escalade and an Audi Q7 – one of which he reportedly got for free.

Up next are fancy personal effects – he’s known to sport some incredibly expensive watches from luxury brands like Tag Heuer and Omega. Rounding out the lavish lifestyle are holidays and recreation. Hemsworth spends thousands on weekend getaways with friends – like the time he bought ringside tickets for the fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Conor McGregor in 2017 – the so-called ‘Biggest Fight in Combat Sports History’ – chartering a private jet to get there.
