Why Daniel Kaluuya resonated with ‘Judas and the Black Messiah’

In this video, Extra TV’s Rachel Lindsay catches up with actor Daniel Kaluuya, who stars in the powerful new film ‘Judas and the Black Messiah’, based on the life of assassinated Black Panther party leader Fred Hampton. Hampton was targeted by the FBI in the Sixties for opposing racial injustice in America.

Here, Kaluuya opens up about what the film meant to him, noting he is “honoured” to have been part of the legacy, adding, “the power of loving yourself and loving the people that look like you and loving your own community… that’s something that really resonated with me”.
