Valuables and cash totalling over €200,000 stolen from Limassol home

Several items and a quantity of cash totalling over €200,000 were stolen from a house in Yermasoyia, near Limassol, police said on Tuesday.

According to the 25-year-old owner of the house, who reported the burglary on Monday afternoon, among the items stolen were three high-end watches, various electronic devices value and €30,000 in cash. The total value of the items stolen amounted to €209,620.

The owner left the house on Sunday night and only went back on Monday afternoon, after which he reported the burglary to the authorities.

The house has been cordoned off and investigators are currently trying to find clues that will lead to the identification of the perpetrators.
