Artistic Exploits: Cyprus’ new artistic platform

“Life without art would be unbearable so if not now, when is the time to support the artists?” ask the team of Artistic Exploits, a brand-new platform that wishes to differentiate itself from the rest and fully support artists.

Artistic Exploits is a novel initiative from Cyprus which seeks to offer the artist a different option than what is already available in terms of promoting and selling their artworks online. It provides a complete smart solution through which interested artists (painters, illustrators, photographers, digital artists and graphic designers) can sell their works in physical or digital form and promote themselves, as well as their general services to the wider public. The profits go directly to the artists as the platform does not deduct any commissions from sales.

“Always relying on the needs of the artist, recognising the hard work, talent, passion and imagination needed to create a work of art, we decided to offer our services with a low-cost subscription which anyone would consider negligible, whereas no commissions will be deducted from any artists’ sales,” the organisation says.

Artists create a profile on the platform once they choose their subscription plan and become members of Artistic Exploits. Currently, there are three different plans for artists ranging from €9.95 a month to €29.95 a month, all offering a 90-day free trial.

The idea of creating such a platform was first envisioned in the winter of 2013. Seven years later, Artistic Exploits was finally launched as a marketplace based on a sole premise – to establish an artist–first community, led by talented individuals.

“We are 100% independent and we are here in an effort to assist the artist in any way we can. We are all about celebrating the extraordinary. We love the arts and we are here to empower the Artist! We aim to enable the artist to regain their lost power by trying to change the industry norms,” they say.

In addition to being a marketplace, the platform provides artists of every kind the ability to offer replication prints of their work to give them a chance to maximize their income. If the artist decides to use this service, Artistic Exploits undertakes to print and send the completed product to the buyer, without the artist having to worry about the printing or shipping processes.

Considering the environment, all prints are made with environmentally friendly and recyclable materials with special scentless inks free of any chemicals.

In a nutshell, Artistic Exploits aspires to the creation of an artistic community and promises to continue to upgrade and improve the services it offers to the artist. However, now, in its first steps, it requires the artists’ support in order to be able to fulfil its promise.
