Coronavirus: Demonstrations outside presidential palace and police HQ

Around 50 people gathered outside the presidential palace on Sunday to demonstrate against vaccines, police said on Sunday.

The demonstration took place between 12-1pm from members of a group called ‘Christian Resistance’. According to police the event was peaceful without any incidents.

Attendees held placards with various slogans and handed out leaflets against mandatory vaccinations.

A similar event is slated for Sunday evening outside police headquarters in Nicosia against the latest lockdown measures.
