Celine Dion Nicosia concert postponed to 2023

The European leg of Celine Dion’s tour that would have included a concert at Nicosia’s GSP stadium has once more been postponed, with the new date set for June 3, 2023.

An announcement on Thursday explained that the singer’s Courage World Tour had to be postponed because of the Covid-19 pandemic and the current status on restrictions on mass gatherings.

“I was really looking forward to seeing all of you in Europe this summer, but unfortunately because of the situation in our world things just keep getting pushed back. But please don’t despair, we feel really good about doing the shows in 2023 and I can’t wait to finally see you. 2023 here we come!” Dion said.

The Nicosia concert was originally due to take place in August 2020 and was rescheduled to June 2021 before being moved again to June 2023.

The Courage World Tour is in support of Dion’s first English album in six years.

The announcement said that tickets purchased for the 2020 or 2021 dates will be honoured for the rescheduled 2023 dates. For further ticket inquiries or options, ticketholders should reach out to their original point of purchase.
