How a tiny, runaway piglet finally found a sanctuary

Every pet deserves a loving and respectful home: please only consider acquiring a pet if you will be able to take care of its long-term needs. Also, consider choosing your animal companion from a shelter, where there are so many wonderful furry friends who need a forever home.

In this heartwarming story, we meet Bubbles, a tiny, runaway piglet, who dramatically showed up in rescuer Hannah Hoeschle’s path, as she and partner Justin were driving along the highway.

Hannah deduced that tiny 750g Bubbles had escaped, or fallen off, a truck carrying her away, and now needed tender care, encouragement and shelter to be able to live her life.

Eventually, thanks to Hannah and Justin’s rescue, Bubbles was resettled at the Where Pigs Fly farm sanctuary, where she continues to grow and thrive.
