The ministry of health announced some changes would be made to Monday’s vaccination schedule due to state nurses’ union’s 12-hour work stoppage.

The affected vaccination centres are Port B in Larnaca, Spyros Kyprianou B and E in Limassol, and Famagusta General Hospital C in Famagusta.

As these centres will operate with minimum staff, appointments will need to be rescheduled, the ministry said.

Anyone with an appointment scheduled for Monday June 7 at any of the above centres will be contacted via text message on Sunday with a new date for their appointment.

The ministry apologised for the inconvenience and reminded the public not to show up at the specific centres on Monday, but instead wait for their new date.
