The met office has issued a new, weather warning over high temperatures.
A yellow warning was issued for 8.30pm Wednesday until 5pm Thursday for high temperatures. It is expected that on Wednesday evening the lowest temperature will be 26 degrees Celsius inland.
On Thursday the temperature is expected to rise to 42C inland and 33C in the higher mountainous areas, the met office said.
