Coronavirus: SafePass needed by over 12s to use Nicosia municipal pool

Everyone aged over 12 using Nicosia Municipal Pool will be required to show a SafePass, the Nicosia Municipality said on Thursday as it announced that it has authorised private security firm SPS Private Security Services Ltd to carry out the necessary checks.

Those aged 12 and over seeking to enter the facilities of the pool will need to show a negative rapid test no older than 72 hours, or proof that they have received at least the first dose of the vaccine against the coronavirus, provided at least three weeks have elapsed, or proof they contracted Covid-19 no later than six months ago.

“With a view to safeguarding public health, Nicosia Municipality urges all visitors to the municipal swimming pool to cooperate with the suggestions of the security guards and personnel,” the announcement concluded.
