Coronavirus: 38 people, three businesses fined

In the last 24 hours, police fine 38 people and three businesses for violating the state’s rules on Covid-19.

Police carried out a total of 2,949 checks islandwide.

In Nicosia, 618 inspections were carried out with five fines on individuals and two on businesses.

Limassol saw 319 checks and fined 16 people. In Larnaca one individual was fined after 620 inspections.

Paphos had five people fined and one business during 378 checks to make sure people had their papers.

The Famagusta area there were 682 inspections with 11 fines on individuals.
