Coronavirus: 29-year-old woman dies of Covid in north

A 29-year-old woman has died from Covid, Turkish Cypriot media reported on Monday.

The woman, who had been six months pregnant when she was hospitalised, had also lost her baby before her death.

She had been hospitalised in critical condition on August 3. Seven days later doctors were forced to terminate the pregnancy due to her condition.

The woman is so far the youngest victim of Covid in the north. She had not been vaccinated against the virus, reports said.
