Coronavirus: rapid test sites for Monday

rapid test 17

The health ministry announced on Sunday 27 sites where people can get a free rapid test on Monday.

Those eligible for the free tests are people up until the age of 17 who do not have parental consent for a vaccine, people aged 18 and above who have a medical certificate proving that they cannot be vaccinated that has been examined by both the health ministry and Cyprus medical association, with the relevant approval. The same applies for pregnant women.

Additionally, people who have received the first dose of the vaccine have to take a test as a condition for a SapePass for a period of three weeks. Individuals who are fully vaccinated but wish to get tested are also eligible for a free test. Both categories must show their vaccination card.

People who have recovered from Covid-19 in the past 180 days and have a certificate of recovery are eligible for a free test, provided they have the certificate on hand.

To get tested, people need to present proof of identity such as ID, passport or a driver’s licence.
