Coronavirus: 20 charges for breaking measures

Nineteen individuals and one business were fined by police for breaking coronavirus measures in the 24 hours leading up to 6am on Sunday.

According to the police, these were the result of 2,786 checks.

In Nicosia 984 checks were carried out and one person and one business were charged, while in Limassol 219 checks were carried out and six people charged.

In Larnaca 480 checks were carried out without any change and in Paphos 243 checks saw two people charged. In Famagusta eight people were fined after 357 check, while in Morphou two people were booked after 298 checks.
