Fire service rescues injured hunter

The fire service saved a hunter on Sunday morning after he injured his leg in the Ayios Ioannis Agros area.

In a Tweet, fire service spokesman Andreas Kettis said that rural fire stations Agros and Moniatis dispatched officers to the scene to help.

With an injured leg, the man was in an inaccessible are 300 metres from the road, Kettis said.

An ambulance on standby then took him to hospital.
