Coronavirus: Monday’s testing locations for eligible groups

Rapid testing sites for Monday, December 27.

Eligible groups must bring, in addition to their ID:

  1. Certificate of completed vaccination
  2. Evidence that a person has been ill with COVID-19 for the past 6 months
  3. Negative rapid test valid for 7 days for children 6-11 years old
  4. Negative PCR or rapid test with a validity of 72 hours for people 12-17 years old
  5. Negative test , PCR valid for 72 hours or rapid test valid for 48 hours for persons 18 years and older  and at least one dose of vaccine

According to the decision of the Council of Ministers, only the following categories of citizens can get a free test: 

  • Children aged 12-17, who do not have the consent of their parents / legal guardians for vaccination
  • Persons aged 18 years who are vaccine exempt through a medical panel process. Pregnant women also fall into this category, provided that they have obtained approval from the ad hoc committee of the Cyprus Medical Association
  • People who have had the first dose and are awaiting their second within the prescribed period for the second one
  • Individuals who have had two doses and have not passed the 7-month mark for a third shot. Double-jabbed who are past due for a third one can still use the free testing until January 15 when this will be reviewed
  • Individuals who have received a third shot but wish to be tested for their own health monitoring purposes or for other reasons
  • People who have a COVID-19 Certificate of Recovery within the last 180 days but wish to be tested for health monitoring or other reasons
