Interior Minister Nicos Nouris was diagnosed with Covid-19 on Monday, as daily cases surpassed 5,000 for the second time in the last four days.
The news was announced by the minister in a tweet late in the evening.
“I was just diagnosed positive for coronavirus.
“I will remain isolated as the protocols provide for the protection of everyone,” Nouris wrote.
